The Road Less Travelled

36 x 36 Acrylic on Canvas - Private  collection - (Kelowna, B.C.)

The story behind the work:
Jer 6:16 This is what the Lord says: "Stand at the crossroads and look;  ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it,and you will find rest for your souls. "

Our lives are full of occasions where we make choices.  Some choices have little or no consequence, as in should I wear black or brown sox today, but others can change the entire outcome of our lives. In a society where the moral fabric is under such constant attack, it is sometimes hard to discern the 'right way'....and that is what this painting is about.  Every quadrant has an element of beauty, but there is only one that is the good way and offers the promised rest.
